Katie sang in CCW for nine years and is thrilled to return to CCW as a program assistant! She graduated magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in 2023 with a degree in Sociology and a minor in Education Studies. Katie currently works full-time at Community Bridges, a non-profit organization in Silver Spring that empowers girls from under-resourced communities to become resilient young women who thrive as students, engaged community members, and confident leaders. In her role as Education and Elementary Program Manager at Community Bridges, she facilitates after-school programs for 4th and 5th graders and coordinates the organization's Learning Access Program.

CCW was a foundational part of Katie's childhood, and singing in the group not only solidified her love for music, but also helped her gain confidence, a strong work ethic, and lasting friendships. Katie has continued to sing since graduating from CCW and is currently part of DC's only adult Jewish a capella group, Makela. She is excited to bring her passion for facilitating joyful, supportive educational spaces to CCW!
