Children’s Chorus of Washington Hosts Successful 2025 Spring Soirée

The Children’s Chorus of Washington (CCW) is pleased to announce the successful return of its annual Spring Soirée, held last Wednesday evening. This marked the organization’s first gala since 2019 and served as a joyful reunion for the CCW community, bringing together families, alumni, supporters, and friends for an evening of music and celebration.

The event highlighted CCW’s continued growth, this season's theme of Roots and Branches, and the exceptional talent of its young singers, with performances from Chamber Ensemble, YME, and Advanced Bel Canto. Guests enjoyed a warm and engaging atmosphere, reconnecting with one another while celebrating the power of choral music to inspire and uplift.

The Spring Soirée also served as an important moment to recognize the progress CCW has made in recent years, both artistically and organizationally. Through strategic growth and a commitment to accessibility, CCW continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact on young people across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

The Spring Soirée is CCW's largest fundraising event of the year and provides critical support for CCW’s mission to provide high-quality, inclusive music education and performance opportunities for youth, regardless of background or experience. This support is vital to maintaining the chorus’s commitment to excellence and equity in the arts.

As the chorus looks ahead to its Spring Concert on June 1, the success of the Soirée marks a meaningful milestone in a season filled with energy and promise. The event reaffirmed the strength of the CCW community and its shared dedication to empowering young voices through music.
